The mission of EARD is to alleviate suffering of individuals, groups, and communities in East Africa that need health services, clean water, sanitation, education, and to create and/or coordinate programs that help provide basic human needs. It is the intent of EARD to respond to emergency situations whether the cause is man-made or natural disasters. The active presence of EARD in East Africa will maintain contacts with community leaders to identify specific needs and to find and implement solutions.
